Welcome

Welcome to our website! We are delighted that you are interested in our research. Our names are Prof. Dr. med. Elmar Gräßel, head of the Center for Medical Care Research, and Dr. rer. nat. Anna Pendergrass, head of the Family Care Research working group at the Center for Medical Care Research at the University Hospital Erlangen.

In over three decades of intensive research for and with informal caregivers (CGs) and affected persons (usually dementia), we have developed a variety of instruments and scales that have been designed to record important aspects of the lives of CGs and affected persons.

Our goals:

  • We want to make these important and meaningful instruments available to a broad public—for noncommercial use without license fees.
  • Together, we would like to contribute to a better understanding of the situation of CGs in Germany and worldwide.

Information for Download:

  • Those responsible for this website guarantee that all information provided during registration will be treated confidentially, in particular that it will not be passed on to third parties.
  • Downloading is permitted for non-commercial use only!
